Our Products

L’Ancêtre Cheese Factory principally manufactures organic raw milk cheddar with various degrees of maturation (mild, medium, old, extra-sharp). Moreover, L’Ancetre offers a complete range of new organic products such as colored and marbled mild cheddar, 7% m.f. Frugal, Parmesan, 15% m.f. mozzarella, 20% m.f. mozzarella, ricotta, Swiss Emmental, as well as salted and unsalted butter. L’Ancêtre constantly works to develop new products and services. The cheese and butter are sold under the trade name L’Ancêtre. All the products of L’Ancêtre Cheese Factory are certified organic by Québec Vrai.

Besides manufacturing organic cheese and butter, L’Ancêtre Cheese Factory also sells fine Quebec and imported cheese. It also provides a restaurant service, which offers its own products and other gourmet meals. Interpretations on the manufacture of cheese are also offered (reservations are necessary). The cheese factory is one of the most interesting tourist attractions of the region.
