Come Visit Us

L’Ancêtre Cheese Factory is located beside the Laviolette Bridge, south of Trois-Rivières. Take Highway 55 south to exit 176.

We offer a variety of organic cheeses made with raw milk and pasteurized milk, and our famous daily made fresh cheese curd. Group visits are welcome! We offer interpretation on the manufacturing process and history of the cheese factory. We require a reservation with a minimum of 15 people.

From May to September, please come and enjoy our delicious ice cream and sorbets made with 60 to 80% real fruits by Québec artisans. We have indoor and outdoor eating areas available. If you want to have a great view of our production plant, our mezzanine would be the perfect place for you.

We also offer local & European fine cheeses and delicatessen.
