L’Ancêtre Cheese Factory is located beside the Laviolette Bridge, south of Trois-Rivières. Take Highway 55 south to exit 176.

We offer a variety of organic cheeses made with raw milk and pasteurized milk, and our famous daily made fresh cheese curd.

 

From May to September, please come and enjoy our delicious ice cream and sorbets made with 60 to 80% real fruits by Québec artisans. We have indoor and outdoor eating areas available. If you want to have a great view of our production plant, our mezzanine would be the perfect place for you.

Our hours are&  From May to September  From 9am to 8pm every day  From October to April  Saturday to Wednesday: From 9am to 6pm  Thursday and Friday: From 9am to 8pm

We also offer local & European fine cheeses and delicatessen.
